Coach’s Corner Spotlight: Dennis Mott
“I used social media to get the word out on my travel as well as a method to connect with prospects.”
– Dennis Mott
Coach’s Corner is proud to welcome Dennis Mott, Jr. (DMJ Gifts) of Corona, California by way of Chicago Illinois! He is father to Cyeeta Mott, Cynita Mott and Secarra Walton. Dennis joined YTB last year, having a strong interest in travel through his military experiences. A friend of his shared the YTB business opportunity with him and Dennis said he immediately saw that this was the perfect business.
He works both the marketing and travel sides of the business on a part-time basis, and says, “I have the honor of having several of my family members working with me as part of my team. My daughter, Cynita and my brother Shelby Mott, along with my cousins Charlon Franklin and Keesha Williams-Jackson.”
Dennis has earned a bonus every month since July, and has received a double bonus some months! He tells us, “In January, 2014, I set my goal to be Coach’s Corner this year. To achieve my goal I contacted Coach Arlyne, who worked with and inspired me to reach my goal. Traveling around the country with my sponsor, Michael Samuels, gave me insight and strategies to help build my team. I used social media to get the word out on my travel as well as a method to connect with prospects.
Follow-up was key – being sure to answer questions to enable prospects to make their decision. I am persistent and fearless, not being afraid to talk with people nor being afraid of the no’s. I don’t accept “No” for an answer! The ease of using the YTB Way has enabled me to share the business information with many people, especially through social media. It provided me with a guideline that was easy to follow.
The financial opportunity that is available with YTB will enable me to spend more quality time with my family and provide experiences through travel for my grandchildren. Being able to set aside money to leave a legacy for my family is important. Additionally, I enjoy helping others to reach their financial goals and improve their circumstances.”
